It was a pilot dub done by "William Winckler Productions" for test audiences.

I don't think people know that

I recall reading a report on OD's Xros Wars website that said Toei was very happy with the pilot dub and were considering WW Productions for the dub or something like that.

WWP have only released one dub commercially. All of their others have been pilot dubs for Toei.

Godofchaos on WtW has received confirmation from a manager at WWP that this was also the case with Fusion Battles, and that it aired on Toei's Broadband Channel for English-speaking Japanese fans.

It's the most wretched hive of scum and villainy in the Digimon Forum world.

Has anyone tried contacting Jeff Nimoy as to why he's not doing anything?

Like MohsinMan99 said, we posted about this in the other site. Here's the email we got from WWP themselves:

Winckler-Oya Inc. takes great care in our productions, and every anime film we've made has been crafted in the most professional manner. William Winckler was the youngest producer of an English anime series for television back in the early 1980s, and since then he has written, produced, directed and provided voices for over 130 English anime episodes. The Digimon pilots were for SERIES work, and the tests were highly successful. The voices were provided by some of the most talented voice actors in Hollywood. Mr. Winckler crafted them so well, that Los Angeles demographic test audiences loved them. Producer Hiroyuki Sakurada thanked Mr. Winckler personally for his fine work. Winckler-Oya was assured we would produce the series based on the success of these tests that Bandai and Toei conducted. Toei executives loved the dubbing and writing.Winckler-Oya Inc. would love to produce the entire series of Digimon Fusion Battles, and the ball is now in Toei's court. By the way, the compilation movies you mention were planned by Mr. Kozo Morishita, Executive Vice President of Toei, and Winckler-Oya Inc. was hired by Toei to make compilation movies that seamlessly flow, and play as "real films." Toei has been designing and making these types of films since the 1960's, and creative decisions were made by Toei. However, I will state again, that for Digimon Xross Wars / Fusion Battles, as well as Pretty Cure 5, Winckler-Oya was making pilots for SERIES work, not more Toei compilation features. You and the fans should write letters to Toei's office in Tokyo, Japan, and tell them what you want. They are the decision makers. Winckler Prods. is not a licensee, we are simply an in-house English language studio for them. The two episodes were successful with demographic test audiences in Los Angeles, and therefore, the job Mr. Winckler did in writing, directing and producing the shows was absolutely perfect. Toei should eventually green light Winckler-Oya Inc. to produce the show
