Nasa releases high resolution film of moonwalk
« on: July 17, 2009, 09:52:07 AM »
Nasa finally released moonwalk films of what appeared to have been lost the last 40 years.

There is a lot of debates going on whether this are true or not, many think Nasa doctored up all this films.

What is your stance on this?

I got quite excited when I heard about these new high res films (apolla fever and what not). My hopes had been raised and then dashed. They weren't that impressive, didn't notice that much difference at all. The story behind the missing films was quite funny though.

When you say Nasa had doctored these films, do you mean doctored them to stage a fake moon landing?

Yes many think we didn't have the technology to go there back then, so they made this fake thing of the lost video, then created them now and said they found them now after 40 years.

If the Russian's are happy to acknowledge the moon landings, then of course, so am I.

I see no reason why I should ignore the best judgements of the scientific community and indulge myself in conspiracy theories "exposed" by people who just so happen to have a book out on the subject!

I'm yet to hear a convincing argument against the landings - flag waving, unparallel shadows, mysterious photography and Radiation belt dangers - all debunked!

I'm told the conspiracy theorists tend to go quiet when the discussion shifts to the mirrors left on the moon (for experiments with lasers), which are still in use today.

People just like a good 'ol conspiracy. No harm, no foul.

Ah, who cares whether we went to the moon back then or not.  If we didn't, I'm pretty sure we did after we got the technology.

No one I guess ...it's only one of the most significant moments in human history.
