WipEout,the video game and the series

I am not sure if there are Digimon fans here who have ever played or heard of the games in this series,but because I have a PS3 slim,I got this game(because I have been wanting to play the game ever since it came out and I am also a fan of the series,check www.wipeoutzone.com for the fan site(I am not advertising))
Have any of you played any games in the seires?
I have played WipEout,WipEout 2097/XL,WipEout 64,Wip3out and HD/HD Fury.
Edit:It is a series by Studio Liverpoool,formerly known as Psygnosis.I think I have narrowed the "search" to zero results

aw yeah, wipeout... that awakens quite some fond memories from my childhood

i would play the demo version on ps1 over and over again, and it had an addicting soundtrack

yeah uh, thats the only small portion of the game i have ever played from the series... havent played any wipeout ever since
