Recently Digimon battle came out...... I've had anticapted it for a while, so here are my predictions for the future of Digimon,

Re-Releases on old favorites like the D-power/Ark for sure because of the online game
old V-pets and many more to come.

I don't think they will be re-releasing the D-power and all the others...  :-\

Ehh, you never know.  If they keep releasing stuff based on the Tamers series, then they may re-release old Tamers merch.

Hopefully they do make more Tamer toys. Even though i think after the Tamer series Digimon went down hill but thats my opinion even though Gaomon wasn't to bad. Anyone know any stores i can get Digimon Toys or anything Digimon in the USA.

the future of digimon at the moment looks great but i dont think any re-releases of things from older seasons will happen. They look to be moving forward with Digimon and they're hoping to catch a new audience who will eventually spend on new merchandise. we may never get the old stuff back but with technology nowadays we might get to see some new cool stuff come out within the coming year

Yeah, the world is a different place now and the kids who watched atleast the original 3-4 seasons are now college-aged, many have moved on from Digimon completely, re releasing old merch is not going to bring them all back. Sure, for those of us still interested in great but that target audience on the whole has moved on. All they can do is move forward and appeal to the next generation of young kids.

I would like the see Digimon cards relaunched as atleast now, from what I've noticed, the Pokemon and YGO TCGs popularity are low.  The game might need some revamping, I found it harder to play then Pokemon or YGO, but that might have been just me. I never got to play more then a couple of digimon card battles because Pokemon and then YGO came onto the scene and outshined it in popularity. Now if the Digimon franchise were to relaunch and aim at the current young kid population, it may come back strongly.

If it does, our only hopes of getting new merch or rereleases is if they decide to rerun the first 3 seasons and market the crap out of it, but its unlikely. We can just hope they plan to really relaunch the franchise with new stuff.

Thats where digimon lost to pokemon, in the marketing department. Digimon stopped but pokemon kept going, to be honest i dont see it happening (atleast in australia) but i hope they do improve their position because digimon is great in so many ways. Im dying for new merchandise.

They wont rerun the first 3 seasons and market it. Theyre already done with those seasons and theyre already working on the new season and theyre gonna try to market that

There is hope if Xros Wars hit's big time maybe they would do something like what Transformers does with re-realising G1 mech but this time the V-Pets have better graphics or they'll stick to the orginal also I want the card game back!

I never experienced the card  game...

The only card game of Digimon I played was with Digimon World 3.
