Best gogglehead/ leader in Digimon series

Personally I think Takato was the best seeming that he was different from the past goggle heads, he was calm, goofy and childish and a bit hot headed when Leomon died, like the previous ones Tai and Davis seem to rush in the action head first without thinking like Takato so he wins my vote.

Digimon Tamers 4ever and if you love tamers you have got to play the new online game Digimon battle which can be offically played on March 17th. (After this post I'm going to start another one bout Digimon battle and it's possiblity of reviving or bringing back the good old V-pet to the D-Power/Ark  8)

Tai. Because he was the original and the best. He was a leader, a friend and courageous ^.^

Ah, and you forgot to mention he was a very good onii-chan (though arguably a bit overprotective). That's a side of Taichi that sets him apart from the succeeding goggleboys and a quality I think of highly.

Why must this poll torment me so? I'm torn between Taichi, Daisuke and Takuya. I just don't feel that same intensity and energy from Takato, even after I've been ontop of his head for most of the season. But I think his worriesome attitude might work as a defining personality for a goggleboy. A characteristic I'm personally not too excited about, but a defining characteristic nonetheless.

Takato was a crybaby, Davis was lousy most of the time, and Takuya... well y'know he was the worst of them all.

Taichi had the best qualities there.

]Same, mostly because he's sixteen in tamers two, which is MY age, haha. The weird thing I found is that he's 16 in english and 14 in Japanese, but Japanese people are generally shorter unlesss sumo's so that should probably be the other way around *cough*

Heh, iMon cut right to the chase.

And if you allow the offtopic, I've also been wondering about that. Adventure's set in 1999 (when Taichi would be 11) and the second season set in 2002 (hence 02) so Taichi should really be 14 by a three-year difference. Strange that they would change the ages in dub, though. Turning the new generation even just one year older would force Miyako to be in middle school/junior high.

I had a hard time choosing between Tai and Davis. But since I figured Tai would be winning, my favorite season, the second season, gets my vote. Davis wasn't too bad. But I liked how Tai and Davis rushed into battle without thinking. That always led to interesting outcomes.

Taichi, because he's the first and original leader of the chosen children.
I used to wish I had a big brother like Taichi or Matt.

I voted Davis/Daisuke since hes funny... especially when it comes to Takeru x Hikari moments... xD
Although Taichi is still epic, i'm kinda wondering why there weren't any couples in 01... >.<

They were like.. 11 years old.. 12 tops. Kids don't think of girlfriends/boyfriends stuff at that age.
At least we didn't back when I was that age. Hah.
