Well, the pictures you're talking about are called "signatures." You can edit your own when you click on the "Profile" tab on the menu at the top. Then, under the "Modify Profile" drop-down menu, click "Forum Profile." You can add images by copying the URL (or address) of the image, pasting it into the "Signature" field, and placing behind it.
